Dr. Shefali Shete received her medical degree from Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital of University of Bombay, India. She completed her residency in Ophthalmology from University of Bombay. After coming to the United States, she did her Masters in Public Health from university of California at Berkeley and Pediatric residency from New York Methodist Hospital where she was also the Chief resident in Pediatrics.
She is fluent in Marathi and conversational Hindi and enjoys painting and interior decoration as hobbies. She and husband are avid cricket and soccer fans.
Dr. Shete is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. As a pediatrician she believes that prevention is the most important aspect of health.
